Title: Influencing of the physical fitness, body composition and balance abilities in ten-year-old girls with sedentary lifestyle through the aerobic form of physical activity Goal of the study: The goal of the dissertation is to verify if there's any influence of Aerobics exercise on girl's physical fitness, their body composition and balance abilities. The study wants to find out if four-month Aerobics intervention (twice a week, 60 minutes of each session) can impact the physical fitness, body composition and balance abilities in ten-year-old girls. Methods: For physical fitness testing four items of standardized test battery UNIFIT test 6-60 (standing broad jump, sit/ups per minute, 4x10m Shuttle run, endurance Shuttle run) were used. For body composition testing the bioelectrical impedance method was used (tetra-polar multifrequency B.I.A. 2000 M). Body fat percentage, body water content, muscle mass were measured. For balance abilities testing the pressure plate Footscan was used - duration for 30 seconds, four types of stands: stand with eyes opened, with eyes closed, one leg stand od right/left leg with eyes opened. Results: After four-month of Aerobics intervention these results were found out: - The testing group is 1,1 cm higher in average, body weight increased of 1,4 kg in average....

TITLE: The competitive performance analysis of Fitness Step Adults category in the finals of the World Championsips 2013 and 2019 AUTHOR: Tereza Kampová DEPARTMENT: Department of Physical Education SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Jana Hájková ABSTRACT: The topic of this thesis is the analysis of competition sets in the Fitness Step Adults category in the 2013 and 2019 World Championships' finals. The main aim of this work is to analyze and compare the choreographies from these two years in terms of the development of difficulty, intensity and variability of the competition sets and to evaluate how the choreographies have changed after the rules had been altered. Individual choreographies from the year 2013 and 2019 are firstly evaluated in accordance with the rules and requirements of FISAF International and then compared with each other. Moreover, the comparison is subsequently supplemented by an interview with a coach and, at the same time, a participant in both World Championships in the role of a competitor. The conducted research revealed that the choreographies had changed its character since 2013. The choreographies of 2019 use different elements that help elevate the intensity of the set. Elements such as formation changes and exchanges between team members have reached a higher difficulty. In contrast with...
Design of set of compensatory exercises aimed at the hypermobility caused by aerobics
NĚMCOVÁ, Veronika
This bachelor thesis deals with compensatory exercises to eliminate hypermobility caused by sports aerobics. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compile a set of compensatory exercises focused on hypermobility. The methods of analysis and subsequent synthesis are used here. The analytical part of the bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the literature, basic anatomy of the joints, hypermobility and characteristics of compensatory exercises. The systematic part is focused on compiling an overview of selected compensatory exercises that are focused on eliminating hypermobility caused by sports aerobics in the joints. This work is meant for sports aerobics coaches, who can further apply it in their training process.
Nutrition for elite female athletes

The thesis is divided into two parts; theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explores the history of sport nutrition, the basic parts of human nutrition, fluid intake, energy metabolism, and timing of meals according to the sport done. Part of the thesis is aimed at younger school age, then middle school age, then at teenagers. The last chapter closely descibres aerobic and fitness. The second half of the thesis consists of a practical part which was based on data gained by half structured interviews. This part is aimed on describing the individual eating habits of sports girls. Drahotová, Karolína ; Černá, Jana (advisor) ; Novotná, Viléma (referee)
Title: Injuries in aerobics Objectives: The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to find out which part of the body is most often injured in girls who are engaged in competitive forms of aerobics at various levels aged 17-25 years. Methods: In my work I used the method of questionnaire survey. Results: The results showed that the most common areas of injury are the lower limbs, especially the muscles of the lower limbs. Another injured area is the wrist and ankle joint. The individual percentages of injuries in competitors differ according to the competition form, but the injuries that occurred most often are the same in all forms. Kerdová, Terezie ; Nováková, Pavlína (advisor) ; Křivánková, Markéta (referee)
Title: The effect of the health-compensatory education program of foot position in aerobics-practicing adolescent girls Objectives: This undergraduate thesis is aimed to create the health-compensatory education program and test its effect and influence on the position, shape and stress of the foot of adolescent girls doing aerobics. Methods: It is a quasi-experiment study using a research method of a case study. The effect of the health-compensatory education program was tasted on 6 girls aged between 16 and 18 years and practicing aerobics. The research sample was divided into 2 groups - the experimental group, which completed the exercises, and the control group, which did not complete the exercises. The health-compensatory education program lasted 12 weeks, 4 times a week for 10-15 minutes. This program was including sensory and motor exercises. The methods of data collection during the entry examinations were kinesiological analysis and the examination on the podoscope. These examinations were repeated immediately after the end of the health-compensation program and subsequently two months after the end of the program. Furthermore, the subjective feeling of pain in the foot area was evaluated using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS). Results: After the 12-week health-compensatory education program,...

Tipplová, Eliška ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Krištofič, Jaroslav (referee)
Title: Compensatory exercises in sports aerobics Objectives: The aim of the work is to find out the best compensatory exercises for the most common injuries at the top level in sports aerobics. Methods: To achieve the goals of the work, I used the information I obtained by studying the literature and Internet resources dealing with this issue. I searched for literature mainly in the library of the Charles University FTVS with the keywords: compensatory exercises, sports aerobics, load, training unit, exercises, self-weight exercises, sports injuries and gymnastics. For the implementation, our own experience with this sport was necessary, in the role of a competitor and a coach. I also used professional consultations with other coaches. The metod for this research was used a questionnarie, which was submitted to five competitors from the club Fitness center Báry a Hanky Šulcové. Data on the experience with compensatory exercises, the injuries of the respondents and the treatment of these injuries were monitored. Results: The questionnaire showed that ten respondents had 41 injuries, of which 60 % in the lower limb. Most of these injuries were injuries to the ankle joint, knee joint and muscles in the back of the thighs. According to the data, it cannot be said unequivocally that compensatory...
Verification of intervention programs in aerobics.
Kovaříková, Klára ; Novotná, Viléma (advisor) ; Kyselovičová, Oľga (referee) ; Pelclová, Jana (referee)
Effect of the Aerobics Body Express intervention program on muscle strength. Objectives: The goal of the study is to validate the efficiency of the Aerobics Body Express intervention program and analyze its impact on three selected types of muscle strength and three muscle groups. Methods: The three-month intervention program shall be implemented as part of the syllabus of the Aerobics course at Palestra College of Physical Education and Sport. The studied population sample shall consist of 95 second-year students of Palestra College. The effect of the Aerobic Body Express intervention program on the individual types of muscle strength shall be assessed based on the difference in the results of pretests taken before application of the three-month intervention program and posttests taken after its completion. This shall constitute a quasi-experiment. The individual muscle strength types shall be measured using a battery of selected motor tests. To assess the changes in performance from the point of view of statistics, we shall use the signed-rank and Wilcoxon tests. To determine the effect size of the test results, we shall use the Cohen's d coefficient. Results: The measurements demonstrated statistically verifiable changes in all tests for the experimental group. Abdominal muscles tests showed...
